Please consider making a Fund A Cure donation in honor of the Gilmore family.
Susan and Martin are our 2021 JDRF Piedmont Triad Hope Gala Honorees, and their daughter, Margaret, is our 2021 Fund A Cure Chair.
The Gilmores threw themselves into volunteering for JDRF in 2007, when Margaret, who was 14 at the time, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (the morning after her parents attended the 2007 Hope Gala and learned about the symptoms of this disease). They have been passionately committed to helping JDRF cure type 1 ever since.
Fund A Cure is an opportunity to make an impact on the lives of people living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) and their loved ones through a 100% tax-deductible donation that will accelerate life-changing diabetes research. With JDRF research on the brink of numerous scientific breakthroughs to cure, prevent, and treat T1D—and with the pandemic wreaking havoc on JDRF's
event-based fundraising model—Fund A Cure donations are more important than ever.
Your generous contribution will make a tremendous difference for the Gilmores and for all people living with T1D!
