All bidding will be done electronically this year as well, but through the convenience of your own smart phone or  with aBid Pal Device. Spend the day with Dr. Marcie Drury Brown, MD, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Wake Forest University Baptist Health Center for Diabetes Research.  Delve into the science of endocrinology as Dr. Drury Brown leads you through a day in either diabetes clinic or endocrine clinic (your choice).  Dr. Drury Brown will discuss what you would like to get out of the day but a typical day could include observing patient consultations, discussing presentations, test results, medication dosing, side effects, and complications of various endocrine disorders. Explore the inner-workings of Brenner Children's Hospital's Pediatric Endocrine Clinic or Joslin Diabetes Clinic, including examining rooms, lab facilities, patient management and mentorship resources.  See how much fun pediatric endocrinology can be!

The system's computer will analyze the actions you take, as well as the accuracy of any weapons you fire at the actors. Then, you will discuss whether you made the correct decision, waited too long in reaching that ­decision, and whether it is likely you have survived the encounter.

Want to know what it's really like to be a Crime Scene Investigator? Experience the real-world field work of one of the Greensboro Police Department's top-notch CSIs by riding along when they respond to crime scenes. Learn how to protect crime scenes and the evidence they contain. Tour the lab and see how different types of evidence are processed - everything from latent prints to photographs to ballistics examinations. You'll be surprised at the difference between real-life and TV CSI.

Join a Greensboro firefighter as he takes you on a journey behind-the-scenes in a typical day of his life while on duty at  the station. Learn what a firefighter is thinking and feeling as he races to the scene of an emergency, how he figures out what to feed all the hungry firefighters at his station, and what he feels as he leaves his family for a 24-hour stretch.

Day in the life of a Doughnut Maker
Spend 2-3 hours in the Stratford Road Krispy Kreme shop learning how your favorite doughnut is made. Get hands-on experience by helping to fill yeast shells with your favorite, lemon, raspberry or cream filling. Hand dip icing and decorating doughnuts to package and take home with you to share with friends family.
